Get started

Create your account, take the short tour and run your first meeting.

Afterparty reads a meeting, finds every action that came out of it and drafts each one: the recap email, the Slack update, the CRM note, the next invite. You approve each draft with one click. Setting it up takes about two minutes.

Create your account

  1. Go to app.useafterparty.com/signup and fill in your name, email and a password of at least 8 characters. Try it free, no credit card needed.
  2. We send a 6-digit code to your email. Type it in, or paste it, and you are in.

Use the name people call you in meetings. The agents use it to tell your actions apart from everyone else's, so a meeting where Priya promises a task and you promise the recap only gives you the recap.

Take the short tour

The first time you sign in, Afterparty walks you through five quick steps. Every step can be skipped, and you can change everything later on the Setup page.

The welcome screen: after every meeting, the agents write the emails, ping your team, book the next meeting and update your CRM
  1. Where do you record your meetings? Connect your notetaker (Fireflies, Fathom, Zoom, tl;dv, Google Meet or Gong) so meetings come in by themselves. No notetaker? Pick I don't use one, I'll paste transcripts.
  2. Where do you send email? Gmail or Outlook. Approved emails become drafts there, never sent.
  3. Where do you message your team? Slack or Microsoft Teams.
  4. Want to give the agents more context? Optional: your calendar, CRM, project tool or docs, and a few lines about yourself, such as how you sign your emails.
  5. Your first meeting. Paste a transcript or pick a meeting from your notetaker, and press Start the agents.

Run your first meeting

In about a minute the agents have read the meeting and drafted every action you took on. Open the meeting to watch them work, then go through the drafts and approve the ones you want. Start with Add a meeting and Review and approve drafts.

The Getting started checklist

Until you are fully set up, a Getting started card in the bottom left corner shows what is left: bring in your meetings, connect your email and team chat, give the agents context, run your first meeting and approve your first action. Click Next on the card to jump to the next step. To take the tour again, open Setup and click Take the guided tour.
