Review

Review and approve drafts

Go through your inbox and approve, edit or dismiss each draft.

Every draft from every meeting ends up in one place: the Inbox in the sidebar. The number next to it is how many drafts are waiting for you. You can also review a meeting's drafts from the meeting itself with Review drafts; it is the same review, just for that meeting.

The inbox: seven drafts on the left, an open CRM note on the right

Read the draft

Pick a draft in the list to open it on the right. The top shows what it is, who it is for and which meeting it came from. Under the draft, The agent read ... sources lists what the agent looked at in your apps, so you can check where a name or date came from.

The agent found Maya's address in memory but not Tom's, so it marked the spot with [CHECK].

Drafts look like what they will become:

  • Emails start with the To: line, then the subject and the text.
  • Messages start with the channel or person they go to.
  • Meeting invites and time blocks show as a card with the time, the attendees and whether everyone is free.
  • CRM notes, tasks and documents are plain text you can read and change.

Approve it

When it looks right, click the dark button in the bottom right corner, or press A. The button says exactly what will happen:

DraftButtonWhat happens
EmailCreate Gmail draftA draft in Gmail or Outlook, in the same thread. You send it yourself.
MessagePost to SlackPosted as you in Slack or Microsoft Teams.
MeetingSend inviteThe invite goes out from Google Calendar or Outlook.
CRM noteSave to HubSpotSaved on the contact or deal in HubSpot, Salesforce or Attio.
TaskBlock 60 min or Create in LinearA time block in your calendar, or an issue in Linear, Jira, Asana or ClickUp.
DocumentCreate in NotionA new page in Notion, Google Docs or Confluence.

If the app is not connected yet, the button says so, for example Connect Slack & post. Click it, sign in, and the draft goes out as soon as the app is connected. Want it somewhere else this time? Pick another app under Goes to. See Where drafts go.

After you approve, the next draft opens by itself. An approved draft shows where it landed, with a link to open it in the app. For emails, Edit again opens the draft in Afterparty again so you can change it and approve it once more. Posted messages, sent invites and created issues cannot be taken back.

Dismiss it

Don't need it? Click Dismiss or press R. Nothing is sent. Changed your mind? Open it again and click Reopen. Prefer to do it by hand? Copy puts the draft on your clipboard; documents can also be downloaded as a Markdown file.

When the agent has questions

If something only you know is missing, such as a date that was never said out loud, the agent asks before it writes. Answer what you can, Skip the rest, and click Answer and draft. Skip questions has it write the draft with what it has.

Already done

When the agents find that an action is already taken care of, for example the recap is in your sent mail, they show the proof instead of a draft. Click it to open the email, event or note. Draft anyway writes it regardless.
